JOYFUL WORSHIP, PROGRESSIVE FAITH, RADICAL WELCOME
Check out some of the community groups that meet regularly at St. Luke’s:
Springwater Studio is a community art center dedicated to education, healing and transformation through the creative process. The center was built on the belief that art is not a luxury even though it is often treated as one. The creative process is rich in tools for healing, building community, and making meaning out of life’s events. Springwater Studio seeks to engage people of all ages and background in their own healing and growth using the creative arts. We serve children and adults, people living in poverty and affluence, artists, aspiring artists, seekers. In addition to offering arts instruction to East County residents, Springwater Studio aims to provide meaningful work for artists in our community. Shared Joy BRingers Community Handbell Choir
The mission of the Shared Joy BRingers Community Handbell Choir is to echo divine love, enabling people to connect with themselves and one another, thus doing their part in bringing the world into a harmonious community. They do this through church services, workshops and other ministries to which they are led. The Shared Joy BRingers are led by Christine Weber-Kearney, and are always looking for more handbell ringers — no previous experience or musical background is needed, just a willingness to learn and have fun. The Shared Joy BRingers practice at St. Luke’s. For more information, please call Christine Weber-Kearney at 503-408-1329 or click here to email her. You can also click here to visit their web site, or click here to view a Shared Joy BRingers brochure for those interested in joining.
